Another landmark

GMC 36000 MilesAbout a week ago (Hey, I try to update this when I can) I noticed that my “Lil Truck” was about to hit 36,000 miles.    My lil truck is a GMC Canyon that I got back in 2007 and it is nicknamed lil truck because is an clone in body style and colour to my wife’s Sierra, just smaller and without four wheel drive.  When I first got it I was kinda surprised at myself.  I have always owned imports, and the imports have always treated me well for the most part.  The only part where they “failed” is the road that I need to drive in on.  It is a very hard, bumpy, muddy, rutted road and I would not change it because it keeps people from coming to my house unless they really want to visit me.  That being said, I has broken my CR-V twice on that road and the last time it would have costed me $6,000 to fix it again.  That is why I moved to a truck.  Imports don’t make small trucks.  They make truck like cars and big trucks.  And with the minor issues we have had with the Sierra I felt I should get a “real” truck that I can’t hurt.  So far it is has not let me down.

So here I am, 36,000 miles later and I still love my lil truck.  It’s mpg might only be 24, but at least I know there is very little that can hurt her.
